OH squats looked pretty good. Maybe a little unsteady on the bottom at times but 95 pounds ain't chicken feed..especially given the short time you've been doing them.

And the last time before that was very good..like Pity said. You're depth was good. DEFINITELY do not trade form for depth. You depth is already better than most peoples.

What did you do before these OH squats you listed?

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Ok sir. I am learning to squat between my legs.

Before all the OH Squat work all I did was a bunch of mobility drills from EC's book. I also focussed a bit more on hamstring flexibility.

EDIT^^^ I meant ankle mobility

Did you do any lighter weight OH squats before the, what was it, 65 lbs?

And what do you mean by focusing on hamstring flexiblity specifically..if I have to point out the difference between mobility and flexibility one more time...POW...right to the moon!

Oh yeah I did...I never list my warm-ups.

This is how it went down:
1.) Mobility Drills from EC's book plus some other stuff I have come across
2.) A few push-ups and Pull-ups and some free weight squats with that medicine ball behind me up against the wall (remember you asked me to do these)
3.) I used a lat-pull down bar and did a set of 5 reps of OH Squats
4.) Then I used the plan 45 lbs bar and I did 5 reps.
5.) THEN I took 65 lbs and began the actual work sets...

I am so sleepy right now I cannot believe I wrote hamstring flexibility. I meant ankle mobility. WTF....sorry about that, Eric. I think I suffer from ADD...

OK everything is cool except for number 2..that is a postworkout thing. If you spend any kind of longish period of time sitting in that bottom position with the bosu ball thing then that could have produced that feeling of not so goodish form on the oh squats.

Gotcha on the ankle mobility

Ok, sir. I understand.

I actually forgot to bring up why exactly I felt a bit off today...it had nothing to do with my hips or ankles of hamstrings.

My problem was my shoulders. I slept in a real awkward way last night and for some reason I just could not lock my left elbow when I was squatting. So throughout the 8 sets with 65 lbs I did not "feel" my elbow was locked out and my left shoulder was badly straining.

BUT, after those 8 sets I went and did 2 sets of 15 reps dumbbell presses with 35 lbs and I also did 2 sets of tricep extensions with 10 lbs and I finished with 5 pull-ups (not chin-ups). Throughout the presses and the pull-ups I heard a whole bunch of clicking sounds (like when you crack your knuckles?) in my left shoulder and then after that everything went a bit smooth.

I hate sleeping in these weird positions.

Sorry about this lack of info. I worked out a few hours ago and I forgot all these details. I just looked at my actual logbook and remembered

That's OK. But still don't do the bosu thing pre-workout, haha.
