Hey guys: Its not THAT bad.
To be honest, I like shows like Desperate Housewives, The OC, Grey's Anatomy, etc.... And at the same time, I absolutely LOVE shows like The Sopranos, The Shield, CSI, Law and Order, etc... I guess I have a diverse portfolio :p |

Hopper: Yeah squat clusters suck balls. I probably cheated on them several time, miscounted reps, inflated my reps lol....I hate doing squat clusters. If I ever do clusters again, it will be for bench and pull-up stuff. Not for dead or squat variations.

Clusters are great! You just have to learn how they work for you. Are you just adopting it from Max Strength? More or less?
If your cheating reps, etc..it's just too heavy. You can either make a cluster cycle where you work up to the higher percentages or you can throw in clusters on certain things at the end of heavy lifting. All sorts of things you can do. They are not something you can do all the time of course, but you cannot turn it into "failure" training. That ain't what it is. That is not to say that it isn't extremely hard. |
