nah. i just did some dynamic stretches and my knee "crackled" like how you crack your knucles. its fine now. it just needed to be cracked :) i might go workout today then..

Before everyone starts going, oooh, so much volume, look at the total reps and consider that Anuj's best MP so far is around 160. It's only around 16 "working" reps. The beauty of it is that almost half of them are in the 90% or over range. If Anuj had listed "5x3" nobody would likely have noticed :)

Cracking you knee might have made it feel better but it ain't gonna fix it.

^^^ shit. im resting it today then, sir

You say it's on the side of the kneecap, inside portion of the leg?

Doe's it hurt when going down stairs?

no not at all. its the area where your quad meets the inside of your knee. thats where it kinda hurts. not the knee itself..

I'll bet it was running around playing football that really aggravated it. If your hurt it during the workout I suspect it might have been the bulgarians. The area that it hurts doesn't necessarily tell you where the problem is. I'd rest it and massage then inner quad area. See if you find a sensitive area in there somewhere.

Hopefully it's nothing serious and will resolve. If you do go to a doc you really need a physical exam of the knee. An MRI is not likely to uncover something. I'm just saying that because people are always requesting MRI's but they are just as likely to see the "results" of the problem rather than the problem itself. And actual detailed knee exam would tell you a whole lot more right now. Which probalby means ortho...

oh yeah no doubt running around playing football aggravated it. but its not that serious. im so used to panicking at the drop of a hat about injuries that i kinda exaggerated it...it did hurt but not to the extent that it stops me from doing daily activities. i just walked to the library to print some stuff out and i went out for lunch, etc and it was fine. it doesn't hurt right now. it did hurt me in the morning but i took some anti-inflammatory pills and some muscle relaxants and i cant feel any pain. if i squeeze me knee at various points and my thigh as well i dont feel any pain. i actually tried feeling my knee yesterday and today morning before i took the pills as well and both times i didnt find any sore spots. it should resolve itself. it could've been the bulgarian squats but i think it was the military press set with 155 (second set) because i squeezed my ass cheeks together as hard as i could and inadvertently flexed my quads really really hard causing them to hurt right on the inside where it touches the knee.

Yeah, that could have been it too. Strains happen. You definitely don't need to panick at every little twinge :). Just watch it and if it starts to hurt during a workout or what have you stop..
