haha..you arrogant bombabyans :)
pics would be very cool...i always thought india was cool since indiana jones and the temple of doom :) i figured the UAE had the most million/billionaires... |
Yes, we Bombay-ites are highly arrogant assholes :D
Actually, in all honesty...apart from big cities like Mumbai (Bombay), Delhi and Banglore, the rest of India is very backward and way too conservative. So if you're brought up in Bombay where people are liberal and hard working, if you go to anywhere else in India, you don't like it. Do you have a facebook account? I can link you to a group which has some awesome pics of Mumbai.....but I'll put up some pics of Hard Rock Cafe, etc in Mumbai later tonight...I got to go get some food to eat :) |
no facebook or myspace for me :)

Just so you know... The unit weight of concrete is about 2400kg/m^3 and the lower floors of any large building are the strongest (they have to hold up the weight of all the floors above them). The concrete floor you're lifting on doesn't even know you're there. :) |

Mechanical engineer's build bombs Civil engineer's build targets My engineer buddy sent that to me the other day, thought it was pretty funny, cause I'm a nerd. :biglaugh: |

Beginning Thoughts: Last workout for this week. Next workout will be on Monday :)Workout: Speed Military Presses @ 40% of 1RM = 65 lbs x 3 reps x 10 sets. As you can imagine...this wasn't very challenging...But I do hope that it pays off later on.Overall Impression: This week is finally over haha.....My lower back was hurting a lot where I had injured it last year but today everything is feeling much better. I was just sore with severe DOMS probably from 4 workouts in a row. I look forward to these next 3 days of rest, peace and quiet. I hope everyone has a good weekend :) |
Rest up and eat up Anuj, you earned it mate.:)

Beginning Thoughts: I have some stuff I would like to discuss, but I think it is best written about at the end...Workout: Front Squat cluster sets. Here are two videos of the clusters:Overall Impression: Ok where do I start??? |
I'm not surprised by the lower back issues on front squats. That is a real killer unless you manage to stay up and down. Even if you do manage that you still end up using your lower back to support the weight. imagine putting a weight on your back and leaning back a bit, your abs will engage like hell to stabilize you. Same thing happens on front squats if you lean forward. Your lower back is engaging to keep you from nose diving. Looking at your videos I would say that you are not keeping your back arched. You can see the top of your back rounding out which is going to move the weight forward. Can't see your elbows, but I would guess that they are dropping when you are driving out of the hole. With your elbows high and your back tight it shouldn't be an issue.
