Very strong on the anderson squats there Anuj. Nice grunting too! lol, I grunt too.

I've never seen a SSB before. What is the purpose/ what is it good for? Oh, I'm such a newb. lol

^^^ I'll let Anuj answer that because he'll do a better job of answering it and you asked him.

I love the SSB...when I hurt my shoulder & was unable to do BB squats, I was still able to do SSB squats. They're obviously great for good mornings also. It moves the weight pretty high up. Lots of quad activation. I like to do narrow stance squats with it.

SSB is the next big purchase I will make. Good prices through this ebay store, which i think is called barbellusa..it the same SSB that newyorkbarbell has, which should be fine for home use. I SO want one.

Thank, IW.

I like the SSB because it just seems a bit more convenient to use on good mornings. Like Ross said: it also places the bar higher up. It shifts the weight a bit.

I have no idea what the weight is. I think it is 55 or 65 lbs. Thats why I just account for the weight I add to it.

Beginning Thoughts:
I decided to make this day into a Moving Day. So I did 2 lifts today. Well, before I begin, I weighed in today at 190 lbs. I felt good and I got 10 hours of sleep last night :)
Workout:
Military Press
bar x 15 reps
95 lbs x 4 reps
135 lbs x 2 reps x 2 sets
155 lbs x 1 rep x 2 sets
175 lbs x 1 rep
155 lbs x 4 reps to failure

Pull-ups
BW x 5 reps
+ 25 lbs x 1 rep
Videos:
Military Press
Overall Impression:
A new 15 lbs PR on my Military Press. It was a hard lift and I am glad I nailed it.

Tomorrow I will decide what to max-out on....

Nice PR !

That looks heavy. Good lift. :) You're passing me again on all the major compound lifts. You've been getting a lot stronger. Aside from you putting in that good work, it says a lot for the program. Keep it up!

good shit man.
