Wilco .

I actually just bought some isolate from "AlltheWhey" cuz it was a really good price. So far very satisfied with it, i.e., it mixes well and tastes pleasant. As far as quality, well, I can tell it's an isolate . BTW, I got orange cuz in my pre and post formula it tastes just like Sunny Delight.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Thanks guys. Yeah, shit sucks..No pun intended.

Yesterday I felt a lot better. That night I got back on my usual diet, eating a few chicken breasts when I got home. Felt good to get something in there! Just before bed I had a big glass of milk with a scoop of whey. Mmmm..

This morning I felt a little weak still, but got a solid 12 hours of sleep in since clocks got turned back an hour. Even woke up after 8 hours to slam some protein cause my hunger pains woke my ass up..Back to the same old shit I guess..

ME BENCH: DELOADING [still]

Yep, felt good enough to go. Even though I felt weak as fuck, and obviously smaller, I was surprisingly strong today. Very strong in fact. I went with a close grip 2 board press (extra rest for my pec) and worked up to a conservative 365! Could've went more too.. Tried a drop set with only 275 and busted out 8 solid ones taking it easy. This time though I used a medium grip, a lot closer than usual for me for regular bench pressing. I've always went with pinkey's on the rings, and always kinda felt uncomfortably wider than I'd like. I've always had really strong triceps, and I have a much much easier of a time tucking my elbows with my grip in more. So, this time I went about another inch in from the rings....And low and behold, felt powerful! Absolutely no soreness in my pecs. Really allowed me to tuck the elbows and flair my lats good. So I'm very pleased with the new grip. It should elliminate any pec soreness from now on.

Afterwards, did some push presses. By now I'm pretty winded from my 2 day diet of....ginger ale. Still able to blast up 225 x 1, then 255 x 1. Tried 285 but didn't have any gas in the tank.

JS Rows I lowered to 265 for all three sets of eight. Felt ok with these given my condition. After those, I did 3 sets of face pulls with the stack, then blew off arms and left the gym happy as fuck! Pec felt great, still very strong, and was able to accomplish just about everything without feeling overly run down from being sick.

----

Oncoming week will feature MORE volume, but still DELOADING. Basically, not gunning for any PR's, or TOO heavy of weight yet, but I am increasing the volume more for my final deload week so the transition will be easy as pie when I start pushing again.

ME SQUAT/DEADLIFT: DELOAD WEEK II

Strong day. Definately getting my strength back from being sick. Went with wide parallel squats to start off the day. Worked up to 415 x 1, NO drop set afterwards.

Conventional deadlifts I felt terrific on. Worked up to 495, but got stuck about halfway up because I let out all my air. Stupid mistake that I attribute to not having done these in so long. Plus I still felt a little winded from being sick still.

Moved on to pullthroughs and hypers, ect. Next week when I start loading again, I'm increasing the weight on both the pullthroughs and hypers to 190 and 35 lbs respectively.

Banded abs pulldowns and DC style calves to follow that. My calves are really coming along nicely doing DC style twice every week. Weight seems to be getting easier, and I'm taking up to 15 seconds between reps to increase TUT.

RE BENCH: Deload week two cont..

Felt pretty good today. Still doing repetition instead of speed. Started off with flat bench (5 x 5) w/ 285 lbs. Used my closer grip for these which made it slightly more difficult. Still worth it because my pec felt terrific compared to last time.

Strict standing military presses were obviously difficult following the 25 reps for flat bench. I tried to keep the weight the same as when I would do the speed bench and used 210 lbs. Got my first two sets of five barely, and my third set failed on rep 5. From now on, I'm going to treat this exercise differently in regards to weight selection depending on whether the day is RE or DE. DE days I own this exercise because my triceps/anterior delts aren't already smoked. RE days I'm a lot more fatigued. So my next RE day I'm dropping the weight slightly for these. Something like 200 lbs to start until I get used to the repetition days. On DE days, I could stand to increase my OHP's!

Weighted pullups were easier. I used a closer grip than usual which made things really easy. Still used a 35 lb DB for both sets of 5. Pulldowns I held over the 240 for 2 x 10 with a super wide grip. As a personal preference, I'm going to gun for heavy sets of 5 reps with a medium grip for pullups, and lighter sets of 10 with a super wide grip for pulldowns to follow.

Since it is a deload, I didn't do my 3 sets of rows..Which took every ounce of will power not to do. Arms was next/last. I opted for using the high and low cables and did a continuous circuit one arm at a time. 3 x 10 per curl and same for pressdown. I did a set of 10 curling with my right arm, then my left. Took my time loading more weight and did the same for pressdowns. Tough workout with the limited rest. Kept it light and used 70 lbs for curls, 90 for pressdowns.

DE SQUAT/DEADLIFT: Last deload workout....

Had some bad karma walking in to the gym due to a 2 hour, 15 minute drive home from work sitting in traffic. To put the CA traffic in perspective, at 5 am, it takes me 44 minutes to get home going 80 mph the entire way. Coming home at 5 PM, that same drive clocks me at 5 mph halfway!

Unfortunately for me, I drank me huge preworkout shake on the ride home along with 24 oz water. So by the time I was halfway home, I was glad it gets dark out early.. I had to whip out my huge gatorade bottle and get in some target practice. That's all I'm going to say..

Banded speed squats were good to go. Jumped up to 255 banded no problem. Decent speed IMO. Same for banded deadlifts. Kept the 365 as previous. Those I stand to really increase because I was super fast with.

DB Swings I increased to a 100 lb DB, and used 35 lbs for hypers. Hamstrings were burnin' today. I ended with banded abs pulldowns and increased to 4 sets of 15 reps. Very tough exercise! Calves I tried a 5 x 5 today. 5 seconds UP, 5 seconds NEG. My calves have grown considerably since doing DC style twice a week.
