Update: I'm very pleased at myself for stopping the 5x5 a week premature. My left pec has recovered 100% since removing flat bench. I don't know if I said it previously, but I ended the program with a stellar PR: 345 x 3, 3, 3.

I've since moved on to a true cutting phase. I've dabbled a few times in the past with overcomplicated programs like UD2.0 and the like to no avail. Not that I was consistant or anything lol.. I'm used to the diet which IMO so far is pretty easy to maintain. It's the same foods I was taking in, just less. Depends on the day. So far the only struggle I have is the carbup day trying to fit it all in to my ever shrinking stomach. Plus, it's mentally a whole lot easier moving from a high carb metabolic reset diet to where I'm at now. 300+ grams of carbs per day was rediculous lol!

Got through 5 days of cardio last week which is a new PR for me LMAO! That beats my 5 year PR of twice in a single week.

Supplements are pretty much the same as usual. Fish oil, vitamin/mineral packets, protein, creatine, blah blah blah..

Nicely done bro, cardio is the anti-christ if you ask me

Good luck with the cutting phase, I'm sure if you take the same mentality to this as you do to mass gains you'll be very pleased with the results.

I'm glad to hear the pec is recovering nicely and the cardio is definitely impressive. My PR is about 3 times a month (just kidding)

Update Time: Down to 241 lbs after three full weeks. Not at all hungry. I went down a belt size which totally fucked up my squats! I usually put my belt on the third hole which always was a little loose so I would be able to suck in a good gulp of air into my belly. Well, now it's really lose and I had to go to #4 hole. Too bad it was a day late and a dollar short on that call!

Yeah man I hate cardio too. I like lifting weights too much. I think if I ever go back to a three day program I'll do some weight circuits on another day so I can say I did "cardio".

Good luck on slimming down. Glad your pec held out, also. Don't forget, man, if it acts up, and just in general, do that soft tissue work.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

The problem I have with the cardio I've been doing is that during my low intensity long duration days, I'm chaffing BAD! So my simple solution is Vasaline.. Which has just SOOO many uses!
