no not really....im kinda curious about this as well...

EZ, i know we know each other and i can ask you this question the next time we meet, but:

are your squats really that deep?? 265 for 5x5 means your 5RM is hovering around 315-325 on a conservative level which makes your 1RM equal somewhere in the realm of 365+ easy....that could actually be a texas state record, dude....in the raw category. are you sure your squats are deep?

you know, this is totally off topic, but i see so many other journals (not necessarily out here on bb.net but just generally) where guys who are weak (like me) and are struggling feel so bogged down by others who are pulling 700+ and squatting 500+ that they give way to bad form and other mistakes....i know that sometimes i have felt like that too but ive had to work on mental discipline to keep myself from doing silly things like that....i know that if i cheat or do something stupid today, i might have to pay for that mistake many years from now and in no way do i want that..

in any case: nice lifting these days...im sorry you couldnt lift during spring break..i went to Dallas with some friends and we went to the LA Fitness center for a day...i saw a dude pull 700. it was damn impressive. he used wrist wraps not wrist straps. i wonder why...
