Hey, great job pity...that's a lot to do, haha.

BTW I wouldn't necessarily have "lower body" and "upper body" mobility things. I certainly can see focusing more on one or the other but do the whole body before every workout. Remember you're talking about a kinetic chain.

Watched everything again. You're OK, hits. What I was seeing is when you put on the belt in the second set shown in the vid, your setup changes a bit and you start with your hips lower. But then you come up to your regular position before you actually initiate the lift. I though your hips were rising but I think it simply that the belt is influencing your initial setup a bit but you aren't really changing the lift.

Cool E I was worried about the same thing!!

Thats my 1st time ever pulling in a belt,I think it did feel different but I am having a hard time adjusting to my smaller waist.I miss my old belly,!! I got used to pushing out with a nice fat gut during squats and pulls LOL

EricT 11-10-2008 01:21 PM

Then why are you using the belt?

I was using it so I could have a reference to push my abs against, when I pulled.I know you hate belts, but it def helps me "use" my abs correctly.I dont use one in a conv. Deadlift cos it rides up and offers no support.I was more or less trying it out to see what was better for me.

Thoughts??

Yeah. Try a stretch band for that purpose instead. That way you have it as a reference but it does not impede you. All you have to do is take a mini band and just tie it once in front and it will stay on. Just tight enough it makes a good reference and then you get to push out against the resistance of the band so that actually HELPS get tighter. I do this and it works GREAT. Just if I wear it too much I find it irritates my back I think just cuz of that constant pressure..but it's no big deal.
