Went back in later Monday night and did my ab work and a few hypers, nothing to write home about just felt bad skipping abs, never skip ab work, never!!
3x12 BW reverse crunches WOD Planks 3x 25,35,25 secs Hypers 2x12 BW+10kg 1x8 BW+15kg WOD planks are just brutal, I spread out on my toes and hands way out and hold, very hard!! 14/7/09 Actually took the sled out for a while today!!! Did 20mins straight with 20-30kg on pulling back and forwards.Aint dragged in ages!! felt great after, nice n light for some recovery work, went and goofed around at the park later that night, hopefully my work is slowing again and I can resume with Wesley in a month or so. |
ME Bench Day
Stinker of a day on bench today,wanted to triple with something heavy, ended up with 97.5kg on the bar got 2 shitty reps and racked it, waited 30secs and got the last rep, these were ugly reps, I couldnt hold the groove, tried with the 2 board same deal so I moved to inclines hit a heavy double and then stripped down to 1 plate a side for a "widowmaker" got 18 reps.Did my lats delts and tris after and made good of the rest of the workout.Not a bad day in the end despite the bench work being sloppy. DE Squat Day
Pulled against those orange bands again, these went great, did about 8 singles with 120kg on the bar + bands, very fast, threw on another 10kg for 2 harder pulls. Did heavy ass bulgarians next, man these blow the legs up nice and finished with GHRs, gettin better at these.Was pretty beat after just did some planks to finish up. DE Squat Day 17/7/09 Sumos + 2 Orange Bands 8x1? 120kg 2x1 130kg Bulgarian Split Squat 3x5 26kg GHRs BW 5x7 Planks New belt was cool, cant wait to squat in it. |
DE Bench Day
Awesome day today, really made up for the shitty workout on wednesday.Did CG 3 boards for lock out work to start, hit a nice double and a very strong single, then did 2 plates a side for 2x5 paused with a close grip, I dont know why I just did.Then hit my speed work against the yellows again, used wide grips for something different.Did a shitload of rows next, some tris and delts.
