Yeah I like powertec as well, jonson...but, no, maybe not available at the bottom of the world.

I looked around, Hits, and it was damned hard to find much availabe in Australia..I mean, I'm assuming the international shipping would kill you. I did find a few things I'll link in a bit that would work quite nicely though.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Another good, reasonable priced make is Body Solid, maybe Body Solid is avaliable in aus?
I have a Body solid comercial squat rack, which is a good solid piece of equipment, might be worth a look.

Yeah, that was one of my suggestions too! I have some body-solid equip and it is very good. Sturdy. Etc...

Yeah, they are available but the only reasonably priced one is the half-rack which is one of these two links..I use a half-rack and it's suited my fine, btw..but my ceiling is low. I'd rather have a power cage if I could but it's not NEEDED.

But the first is a power cage and it looks good to me. They got some benches to link to on that page...

And they have a powertec rack here a bit more expensive:

And I want one of these:

DE Bench Day

Had a sweet day today, speed was great at 50%, really flying off the chest.Tried the CG 3 board next but with no one home to spot or hold the board is was too hard to do so I did some heavy JM presses.I will do something similiar next week maybe a cg 2 board floor press, that should be a similiar movement .HORSE does that sound like a plan?.Finished with some tate presses and Hammer grip pulldowns.Great pump.

DE Bench Day 11/10/08
Bench @ 50% 50kg 10x2
JM Press 4x5 30, 32.5kg
Tate Press 3x15 12.5kg
HG Pulldowns 3x 8,6,6 115kg 1x8 80kg

Certainly could. Any grip for 1-2 boards would work great. I personally just keep it simple and use a medium grip for everything. That's usually the second grip during your speed sets. I like maybe 2 finger widths away from the smooth, which for someone with my girth IS a closegrip LOL. I prefer it that way because I hate using many different ME lifts for upper body. So I can progress steadily with a closegrip (which makes you a stronger bencher w/ the additional triceps work), then if I stall out, I have the option of moving my hands out a bit more for brand new records. Just don't forget to record every PR and with what grip. I have tons of notes depending on a lot of things. Today's max effort for me I recorded the hole, grip, what bench I used, as well as exactly which hole the back was adjusted to.
