DE Squat Day

Groin held up good today so I squatted.Speed was great too, I havent done any true "speed " work in a while its been all bands and working up with bands!! Anyway I was pretty fast, even with 200lbs, so that is a good sign.I was pretty beat from the squatting after due to VERY short rest times between sets so I just did some heavy hyperextensions and some real heavy dumbell side bends.I threw in a set of weighted situps at the end but ,my abs were crazy sore from monday still.Damn WOD!!

DE Squat Day 23/1/09
Box squat 4x2 70kg,3x2 80kg, 70kg
Hypers 4x? up to 5kg behind my head
Dumbell Side bends 2x5 50kg
Situps 1x15 5kg

Hypers are so much harder with the weight behind your head!

GPP 24/1/09

Dragged sled in grass for 20mins with 50kg,only stopped to chug water as it was hot. This was great.I pulled forward, backward and between the legs.

I really love dragging this thing, I feel so great afterwards.
