Ya ya I know.

It seemed like the right thing to do at the time and then just slowly slipped back to exactly how it was before. I guess I should have seen it coming.

Anyways, thanks for the kind words.

I'd like to redo this max day because I know I have more in me than that... at least on squats.

Hill Sprints

10 cycles:

Sprint up hill: walk down/around (1min)

Wow, my conditioning has fallen off badly. We've pretty much had 6 weeks of rain here so I pretty much stopped cardio all together. Hopefully the weather will hold out a little better now.

Nice bench PR

Sounds like its time to celebrate singlehood by sleeping with as many unsuspecting women as possible ; - )

Wednesday June 2nd/2010

Military Press
bar x 10
95lb 2x5
115lb x 4
135lb x 3
155lb x 1
175lb x 1
180lb x 1 (5lb PR)

Deads
mobility work
60kg x 5
100kg x 4
120kg x 3
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
175kg x 1 (5 kg PR)

I was thinking about trying 180kg but my back rounded a little bit on 175kg. I reviewed the video and it was pretty minor so maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.

Pull Ups
bw x 10,10,8

Getting better.

BB Bicep Curls
55lb x 10,10,10,19

Thoughts

Well my maxes turned out alright. I wasn't expecting any gains on military press but got a bit. I think I should have 180kg on deads if I can stay tight. Maybe next week.

I'm uploading vids but it's slow as F right now. I'll get those up later.

I yes, it's so simple. lol

Thanks, Hits.

Pressing 155lb x 1 with strict form

Pressing 175lb x 1 (a slight drive from the legs)

Pressing 180lb x 1 (a little more leg drive... I do it subconsciously... have to work on that)

My 135lb x 9 press - pretty happy about this

My training partner Scott's 210lb press like it aint no thang lol (@~355lb BW)

Scott's 215lb press (10lb PR for him ... a bit ugly ... lol)

My 160kg x 1 deadlift

My 175kg x 1 deadlift (5kg PR)

Scott's 202kg x 1 deadlift
Maybe you guys can help me diagnose his form issues. Watch his right knee hop. He has recently just recovered from a left knee injury... I think he must be shifting a lot of his weight onto his left by the look of the video.

Hope you enjoy the vids. I don't think I'll be doing it all the time but it's handy for important sets that you'd like to check form against.

Yes, there was and that is why I didn't attempt 180kg. It was a lot more slight on video than it felt though. I dunno, was I right in calling off the 180kg pull?

Just looking for opinions cause I know some guys can pull with a slightly rounded back and get away with it but it seems for me that my back must be weak or something because it gets injured quickly.
