You know something I find amusing...

I am right handed. But, I am largely ambidextrous when it comes to anything other than writing..I can play the guitar with both hands for example.

BUT, when I do uni presses, my right side is ALWAYS the weaker one - even though the side I use largely is my right side.

Just some personal quirks

Good job on the 70 lbs. Damn that's shit heavy for a uni press!

Goodluck with them Grit! You'll need it haha

Wolf, that's odd too. Its like they're from a different dimension or something .

And thank you for two things:
1)For saying good job on the uni's
2)For providing me with a new quote

"Damn that's shit heavy ", 'shit heavy' will now be added to my list of adjectives Joining the likes of "Shitload", "shit ton", "heavy as shit", etc., etc.

Friday January 23rd

184lbs!

Anderson Front Squats
205x2
205x2
195x2

These were shit heavy! haha

GMs
165x10x2

OH Squat
85x8x2

Dragon Flags
10x2

Straightened my legs out a bit more. Pretty tough, 2 sets and I was spent.

My back was feeling a bit tight thursday so I decided against hitting the gym and opted for some mobility and soft tissue work instead. I ended up doing thursday's planned workout today. I opted against fridays workout because I felt that this workout would be more beneficial.

That being said, I won't be doing my 'friday' workout this week, I just don't have the time to go this weekend.

Monday January 26th

183lbs

Speed Deads
245x2 Good
245x2 Very Fast
255x2 Decent
255x2 Good
255x2
255x2

I went up to 245 (20lbs over last week) and managed to smoke the second set. So I went up to 255 and got some good speed at that weight.

Rack Deads
335x4x2

Last rep on the second set was rough. I wouldn't have gotten 5 reps cleanly. I might keep this weight, or lower it for more reps. We'll see what next week feels like.

Pistol Box Squats
+10x6x2

Did pistols with 2 5lb dumbbells, felt pretty good actually.

Anti Rotation
Skipped

It didn't start out as a good day (felt sluggish) but it ended up being a pretty productive workout.

Don't ever forget: shit is the heaviest thing known to mankind.

Even Atlas couldn't hold it for long!
