False Grip....................

BURN Him!!!

Funny you mention this about straps.I used some too last week for the first time.I strained my wrist doing something (insert joke here) and it sure helped me keep em tight.Nice pressing too, how was the speed at that weight?

When I read pin press for some reason I thought military pin press. I was thinking you're one strong mofo using 175lb for speed. lol

LOL @ Both of you

The speed was good. I'm just estimating, but around 1 second for the concentric (from a deloaded stop on the pins). Other than time I don't have any way of telling you how fast it was, I gauge against the previous weeks 'feel' and 'speed'.

I lower the bar under normal speed. I've got the pins set so my upper arm is a bit below parallel, I'm doing roughly 2/3 of the full ROM.

Monday February 2nd

182lbs

Speed Deads
265x2
265x2
265x2
265x2
265x2
265x2

Decent speed, not lightning fast and not slow. Good enough that I can improve upon this weight and not be wasting my time.

Rack Deads
335x4, 335x5

Pistols
BWx5x2

Ditched the bench today and did them rock bottom. Piece of cake

i can get to parallel without a box...it's hard for me to sit back any farther without falling on my ass and it's hard for me to maintain an upright torso....at all

you need to get some vids up.

Not folding over to get your weight overtop of the knee is definitely the hardest thing to do.

You can't sit back too far and you can't lean forward and have too much flexion. You're going to get some flexion, but you need to minimize it as much as possible.

They're definitely an unforgiving exercise.

Pity's pistols rocked. My new goal is to nail that shit. I want that exhilarating feeling too.

Tuesday February 3rd

182lbs

Uni Push Press
70x2
70x1*

Tweaked my shoulder on the second set. Not a full blown injury perse, definitely tweaked it.

Pullups
BWx8

Shoulder didn't feel right on pullups either, I called it here.

I'm not experiencing any pain or lack of ROM and I think its definitely rotator related. I did some light external/internal rotations and those seemed to be fine. I don't think its anything serious.

I'm icing it down and later I'll re-evaluate.
