deads - 216, 1 x 5, 1 x 3

arnolds - 35, 3 x 8

pullups - 12.5, 3 x 7

side bends - 50, 2 x 10

leg raises - 2 x 9

preacher - 36, 2 x 10



wanted to get 8 reps on deads...so i did. i'm not sure if my bar is too narrow...it's not that my grip is slipping, the bar just feels really awkward...with gloves and without...which brings me to my next point.

i got my new bench. website was like...fits standard...medium..and olympic bars...so i was like...moneyyyyyyyyyyy. well apparently the bar i have is none of those. so ordered a new one from dick's sporting goods that is much longer. so i'll have to use my old bench for squats on friday....which sucks...but...bar should be here soon.

i think i'm gonna keep going on arnold press until i surpass fifty pounds...and then maybe swap in military press...i absolutely hate military press. and i figure standing arnolds could be close enough.


started citrulline malate today...2g pre, 2g post. not really sure if it's placebo or not, but i felt a little more energized...also bought some waxy maize...shit is like powdered sugar...and it tastes a hell of alot different from malto/dextrose that i have been using. maybe it was the combo of CM and WM, but the first drink of my post workout shake was a shocker

Don't you hate the weird bar shit? That is very aggravating. I've had similar problems before.

I have never done Arnolds while standing. I might try that sometime. I like the exercise though. It's very, very different from military press.

Good to hear the CM and WMS is going well. I think I am going to get the WMS next also. I really like the combo. I mix the CM and BCAAs on off days and drink that....love it. I just wish that CM was cheaper. Keep up the good work.

thanks man...and yeah...cheaper would be nice

wms definitely blends alot nicer....no chunks. definite plus.

i enjoy arnolds as well...nice change of pace....less tricep in the arnolds than military?

The WMS should basically be like corn starch...not much taste. Unless you get a flavoring added. The CM should be sour as shit.

You really should get at least 4 grams of the CM.

I don't know if more or less of the tricep is activated in arnolds vs military. I do know that my tris get more sore from doing military. Could be because I have started using a wider grip with military. I have no idea though.

yeah, the cm is sour as shit. i threw some in with the remains of my breakfast shake today because i forgot it until the last minute...so it was mostly milk and cm....reminded me of the warheads candy.

A lot of those sour candies use malic acid as the sour part so I guess it makes sense

You know, I never used CM with bulk wms before. The sour taste was always masked by the dextrose/malto when I put it in my shakes (like I pm'd you about). Give it a go though, I would like to hear how it goes.

BTW nice on the deads bro, keep at it.

and...it's definitely not as sour in my post shake...i'll have to pay more attention tomorrow...this afternoon i put it in some tangerine crystal light...and it was sour enough to make my asthma go a little wacko

row: 100, 3 x 5

dips: bw, 3 x 17

gghrs: 2 x 3


did not have my sugar free energy drink before hand...plus woke up early thinking about work today....gay. this was tiring...


after rethinking it...i need a break. i think monday i'll just do a couple sets of squats...find 1RM on military press...and a set of pullups. nice quick and easy. wednesday...1RM on deadlift....some rows....maybe find 5RM on incline bench.

i need to spend more time on the couch in front of the tv...not thinking
