wanted to get 8 reps on deads...so i did. i'm not sure if my bar is too narrow...it's not that my grip is slipping, the bar just feels really awkward...with gloves and without...which brings me to my next point.
i got my new bench. website was like...fits standard...medium..and olympic bars...so i was like...moneyyyyyyyyyyy. well apparently the bar i have is none of those. so ordered a new one from dick's sporting goods that is much longer. so i'll have to use my old bench for squats on friday....which sucks...but...bar should be here soon.
i think i'm gonna keep going on arnold press until i surpass fifty pounds...and then maybe swap in military press...i absolutely hate military press. and i figure standing arnolds could be close enough.
started citrulline malate today...2g pre, 2g post. not really sure if it's placebo or not, but i felt a little more energized...also bought some waxy maize...shit is like powdered sugar...and it tastes a hell of alot different from malto/dextrose that i have been using. maybe it was the combo of CM and WM, but the first drink of my post workout shake was a shocker
