Gday guys.

I have skipped a volume day because I was exausted. I will resume training on the recovery day. On my PR day and the next Volume day should I try and push forward or should I drop everything back 2.5kg. Then work back up.????

Thanks Guys.

Hey Ross,

Good question. I guess I will see how I feel on PR day. If I feel good I will go for it. If not I will set things back a week or two. I guess I am interested to know how skipping a volume day has effected others when things were really getting tough. Did the extra recovery make you stronger or is it wiser to drop the weights back a little.

Thursday 13th dec
Heavy Day
Squat !52.5kg 1x3
Bench 122.5kg 1x1
Deadlift 180kg 1x1
Chins 22.5kg 1x5 2x4
Hangleg Raise 3x10
Calve Raise 410lbs 3x5

Today I had a long hard day at work b4 training and it was very hot. Squats were the same. Bench went up 2.5kg, but only made 1 rep. Was very worn out from work so only deadlifted 180kg for 1 rep.

Hey Hopper.

It has been about 21 weeks now. My ass is huge from all the Squats haha. I am not 100% sure what I will do next. I will probably give the Texas Method another go. I have started watching the WestSide seminar. That has given me some ideas.

How long have you trained for in total? You're lifting some pretty serious weight. Congrats man.

If its the same seminar I saw its very interesting.I am particularly interested in the DE method and have been reading up as much as I can on westside training.Maybe some speed work would get the progress moving again? saying that 21 weeks is a long time on a routine,so a deload might be the way to go.Either way Ill be following your progress.

Cheers Mate
