Awesome. I can't tell if there is a difference in the heels. I guess it must be very slight. Most of the shoes are going to have some kind of heel, even for squatting unless you want to specialize in a "powerlifting" squat which is sort of a different animal. I just realized that the article I linked you too was the place to get adiddas..duh!

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Ok Eric, I will lighten up on pt's and work on keeping the chest up and the back in extension. Only using an ROM that allows that. I was telling myself to have a neutral neck, the body wasnt listening.

You'll get it. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well. It's hard to describe stuff, much easier to show.

Tuesday 1st April

Recovery Day

Squat 130kg 2x4
Bench PR 130kg, 102kg 4x4
DeadLift 197.5kg broke the bar off the floor a couple inches.

I havent trained since this session. I will get back into it on thursday. The reason being my knees would start to feel better and then the step ups would aggravate them. The last week of training my knees started to feel worse. So I figured they needed a rest. The other reason is on my last rep of my last set on bench I struggled to get the rep and pushed my head back into the bench. I have had a very stiff neck this week. Anyways I got some glucosamine yesterday and might give the knees a rest for another week. Abit disapointing I really wont to get under a heavy bar again soon. The heavy grips arrived today so I will start working on my grip strength. After warming up with the 100 and 150 I managed to close the 200 once after a few goes. They go up to 350 so it will be cool to see how far I can get.

Deadlifts are looking good, bro. I ordered up those grippers a few months back, they are sure nice to have kickin around work. Goodluck try'ng to close the 350.

Basically I'm in the same spot as you. 100 & 150's are easy , but the step up to 200 is tough. I'm using 150 for sets of 10 with a squeeze for 2 seconds, but I don't use them as much as I did when I first got them.

Yeah looks like it would be a challenge to close the 200 for reps.

Sounds like the step ups aren't the way to go, Marv. Just have to try other things. I hope your knees get allright.
