I've never put this much thought into footwear since I've always been a chuck guy. Actually I was wearing chucks before they became "fashionable" again and now I'm pissed I have to pay more for them because they are trendy

My quandary is do I want a "lifting shoe" that will enable things to be a bit easier and my lifts to be a bit heavier in the sort term or do I want the best thing for my mobility, etc. in the long run. I'm a longterm sort of person so my instinct is to go with the latter. It's not that I believe that just what I do for squats will make a big difference, but when you factor in all sorts of other squat type exercises....

Plus I dont want to have to change shoes in order to do some romanians or pullthroughs...
