I use 90% of my max , just like Jim said to do. Regarless it's still tough , because it's rep work.

Week 2 - day 1

Squat 3x3 @ 345 , 395 , 445 ( plus 1 = 4 sets for 445 )

Walking DB Lunges 45lbs x 15 , 15 , 10
"Hamstrings got hammered with these , I'm still feeling it "

Good Morning 3x10 @ 135
"These were easy , but I only waited 1 min between sets to make it harder "

Abs - 2x15 ( DB Bends ) 1x20 crunches

15 min stretch after and I used the medi ball on my hams and glutes. More stretching and rolling tonight at work.

Hope you feel better. Just about every time I've gotten sick in the past few years has been after an extremely draining training session. Beats down your immune system. Take care!

Yeah , I haven't been sick in awhile. Right now it's just in my throat so hopfully it wont spread.

Yesterdays workout was a killer one , but my nutrition hasn't been the greatest either - working 7 night shifts is cutting in on my sleep too.

I hear what your saying , and it pisses me off because I'm just starting week 2 of this program and I wanted to continue with out starting over.

I don't workout when I'm sick. Well anything beyond a heavy cold anyways. I find it rapes my immune system and my recovery takes twice as long.

Get well soon Talo.

It sucks when a cold or flu gets in the way of training. I'm the same as IW. If I'm sick or feeling like I'm sick the quickest way for me to get back to my usual lifting is to just stay out of the weight room.

Training kicks the crap out of you and there's a shitload of germs and stuff in gyms. Think of how many people handle the barbells and use the equipment. Its not a good scene for a compromised immune system.

Bench
3x3 @ 200 , 230 , 260

DB Flat Bench :
3x12,10,9 @ 40lbs

DB Kickbacks
3x16 ,12,12 @ 25lbs

Rear Delts ( fly machine , reverse )
1x10 @ 90
2x12,15 @ 70

Not a bad workout considering the way I felt , but it sure did knock me out even more , so I've got one night shift left and I've got to get as much fluid and food into me tonight and sleep tomorrow.

i will prob be taking a few extra days off . Your both right and I prob shouldn't have gone in today.
