I don't really understand the way you write out your sets.

What does "280lb x 1 +4" mean exactly?

Very strong work nonetheless.

one the last set of the day in the 5/3/1 program, you go for as many reps as you can. he was slated to hit 1 rep in his last set, so he did that, and got 4 extra in.

whatever i had two weeks ago really f'ed with my lungs....had to get some prednisone to get them cleaned out. was only really sick feeling for two days, but kept coughing for over 2 weeks. sucked. i feel your pain

Pity gave a good explanation as to my last set. I did a total of 5 reps at 280.

You should dl the program and read it because it is a great read , but basically you get your max rep , take 90% of that and work down from there so in reality i should be at my 1RM in about 4 or 5 cycles ( I will be starting my 3 cycle of this next week sometime.)

I should mention how fucking sore I am. One week of being sick and taking time off has done a toll on my body.

This is my second day off in a row and I think I will just go for a walk because I'm to sore to deadlift today hopefully I'll be alright to sneak away tomorrow and do it.
