Thursday 2/19/09

Overhead Squats
4x45
2x75
1x85
1x95
1x100
1x2x100

Bench Press
8x45
6x95
3x135
1x185
1x225

Notes:
Meet on Saturday, so a real short easy workout. I figured OH Squats would be a good choice to get the whole body involved. Since I've been losing weight all week, I just had to feel my opening weight again to be sure I have some strength. It felt a tad heaver than Monday, but it went up no problem.

I heard on the radio this morning that it's Tony Iommi's birthday today, and it gave me the idea to crank some Iommi on the iPod while working out. It's been awhile since I listened to Sabbath or Iommi. Too bad the workout was so short...maybe I'll finish listening to it tonight.

Yeah, I have Fuse somewhere, I know I downloaded it, but I don't recall what it's like. I was listening to the album that's just called Iommi. Each song is sung by different vocalists, Henry Rollins, Dave Groel (sp?) Ozzy, Billy Corgan are some of them. Not his best work, but it's the only Iommi/Sabbath I have on my pod right now.

Thanks Talo, Kane and Pity. I heard someone that my friend knows may be taping the meet. If I can get a hold it, you guys can see me in action.

LOL, Woo Hoo is right. I weighed 180.5. 181 is the limit for my class. The next class is 198, and I really didn't want to lift against those guys.
