I don't have to be 205 but I need to stay in healthy cut range I may compete in some amateur MMA events. Walking 210 to 215 wouldn't be so bad..

Nothing detailed here, just some randomness. I'm still tweaking the workout.. But I'll get it posted before long. I weighed out at 198 last night! Pretty pumped about that. Also got 405 for 1rm on deads yesterday. Did 315 1x2 as well. Not really sure why but my strength is coming up in everything but chest. It seems to be dropping just a bit there. From 250x5x5, to 245x5x5. Somewhere I'm losing a rep on the last 3 sets or so at 250. I just switched from a 3x8 setup about 2 weeks ago. I wonder if that could have anything to do with it. I'm going to chalk it up to the weight loss and a bad week for now. Which the weight loss is suprising me. It has been dropping rapidly again about 7 pounds over the last couple of weeks. I don't know what that's all about.. Just hope I'm not eating muscle. Taking about 2500 calories a day with 200 to 240 in protein. On a good note I'm making some solid gains in my back exercises. .

I'd think about upping the cals. Slowing down the loss a little. Going by you pics that seems really fast to me. The others would know better on this though.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

A lot of the guys that compete at the 205 class walk around at 220 - 230 and cut down to 215ish, fat mostly, the weeks leading up to a fight and then cut water weight to around 205 about 5-2 days out. This also depends on the level of competitor.

I was just going to say the same kinda thing dave, at your wieght you may want to shoot for 185-190 if you want to compete in MMA. Strength wise the guys who cut down to 205-210 will have a vast advantage if your only walking with 210 and fighting at 205.

1rm max today... 405

I thought about cutting to 85 but I'd wanna stay 205 maybe bulk higher then cut down. I'm in no hurry! It's completely local amateur. I'll think about 85! But I really don't want to.. I wanted to lose weight, now I wanna gain some good mass without gaining to much fat! A lot to ask I know.

Sorry bout the triple post, but I've thought about the advice a little more. Being fairly lean is more important to me, right now, rather than getting to compete. Like I said the weight doesn't matter too much to me just around the area would be fine. I'm mainly focused on building lean mass at this point in time. I've put a lot of time in at the gym, with lifting and all, and I just want to take that a bit further! All great advice though... I turn 26 in October! I would like to at least get in the cage by next summer. It's not a rush deal in any ways. With school coming up in a couple of weeks I won't have the necessary time anyways. I'm not even in that frame of mind just yet. I've put more into lifting than fight conditioning, and I'm just not ready for 3x3 minutes right now, I could hang but I'd get sloppy. I want to work on my wind for quite some time beforehand.. But for now I want to bulk cleanly. Thanks fellas.

Been staying pretty well at 200lbs.. I'm eating 3000 calories right now and this is the most stable my weight has been over a few day period. It usually fluctuates greatly. What would be an ideal rate for putting on good weight! How much a month etc.? 200+/150/75 protein/carbs/fat... Is this a crazy ratio fat to high not enough etc... Let me know something... I know the carbs are probably low as well just let me know some honest opinions thanks. Looking for a clean bulk. I am very focused I can handle the diet just need some help with it.

Today:
Bench: 245 5x5
Incline: 205 3x5
DB Flys': 80's 3x8

Did some cable triceps stuff as well, as well as dips at +25 3x15.

Still not letting go of the high volume stuff.. I just need to pick a new workout and stick to it... It's just hard to break old habits.
