coach kempton quit this morning, he couldn't get another job so he didn't have the money to keep coaching, really pissed off. what i did today.

incline bench: 2x10 at 135 2x5 at 155
squat: 2x8 at 225
bench: 4x7 at 185 2x3 at 205
deadlift: 2x9 at 245 1x5 at 265 2x5 at 285
cleans: 2x10 at 135 1x5 at 155 3x1 at 185

age: 18
height: 5'9"
weight: 198bs
bench 1RM: 275
parallel squat 1RM: 385
deadlift 1RM: N/A
hang clean 1RM: N/A

i wish i could live on crack and protien shakes...

what i did today...

bench negitives: 3x3 at 315
bench: 3x2 at 225
dumbell bench: 5x10 with 75's 3x10 with 55's
incline dumbell bench: 5x8 with 55's
decline dumbell bench: 4x7 with 65's
lat pulldown (wicked close grip): 3x10 at 160
hack squat machine: 4x10 at 90

what i did today.

legpress: 4x5 at 495 3x5 at 535
clean: 2x5 at 135 2x5 at 155 2x3 at 175
incline bench: 3x10 at 135
squat: 2x10 at 185 (legs dead at this point)
dumbell curl: 2x10 with 40's

decided to to a little power training today, take a look.

dumbell clean and press: 5x10 with 45's
power shrugs: 5x10 at 205

I would suggest telling him to visit this site, there is nothing worse then some one who doesnt know shit about lifting giving advice to kids.

yea, many of the freshmen have neve lifted before in there lives, i talked to him and he said that it would be a good idea for lineman and "heavy skill" players to lift after the full team is done. i guess its supposed to be cardio and lifting at the same time. anything to not run. lol. todays mini lift.

bench: 4x6 at 185

dumbell bench: 2x10 with 70's (you guys think i should do more weight here?)

i was supposed to teach some freshmen girls that are playing softball how to bench, but they were late so i made them watch/spot me. it was fun

It doesn't matter what I think, it matters what you can do. If you can lift more, then lift more.
