Well, today is a bit of a different post...
To make a long story short, I'm taking a while off lifting seriously. Many factors go into this, such as the lack of food funds and the fact that I'm behind in schoolwork, but the biggest reason is just problems with motivation. Before I got hit by the truck, I really enjoyed lifting. I was excited to get back into it, but I have to be honest and say that died off within the first two weeks of being back. Since then, I've spent most of my time trying to ignore the fact that I would love to be anywhere but the gym while I'm there. I will never let myself quit something early just because I don't want to do it, and that is the ONLY thing that kept me in the gym to finish the rest of my workout yesterday. Perhaps part of it is that I deal with so much pain every day still that I just can't enjoy putting myself through more. Part might be something else. I'm really not sure. I'm not completely quitting lifting, but it will be a much less regimented event, at least for a while. Who knows. Life has changed pretty significantly since October of last year, and very little is the same as it was. I place a lot of value on strength and size, and I hope that a bit of time off will get me back in the mindset. I really do. But right now I just need to take it a day at a time and get to the gym when I can. Anuj, your help has been an incredible asset. Thank you very much for the time and effort you've spent helping me along. Hopefully I'll be back to learning from you again soon.I'm not leaving the forum, but I'm going to be a different sort of member, at least for the time being.

Well, this was yesterday's workout:
DL: 5x2x225. Forgot to concentrate on back straightness, but otherwise went decently.
FS: 6x3x95
Wood Chops
