LOL, I wasn't suggesting he not listen to you, Anuj. It's only that cycling it back is the simplest thing to do and it will work at least once. That doesn't mean that after you do that you can't get going once you hit a wall again. You may be able to cycle back again (probably) or you may have to use some other tricks, like yours. But if you reach too far into the bag of tricks right off the bat, then the simpler tricks at the top won't work the next time which will stall out you overall progress sooner.

But yeah, that's in the future. DOMS at this point is just soreness and when you actually are hitting the wall you're just as likely to have less soreness.
