yeah i know you go into the bodyweight stuff a lot. you should def include a good amount of pushups like 2 or 3 times a week. they could make a world of a difference

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! !

i should have listened to ross. i did over a couple hundred pushups on sunday and a lot of shoulder work on tuesday. felt ok today so i thought i could try the 5 today. i didnt get it i warmed up the same way i did with the 475

225x12
275x10
315x6

then i failed on the 500. after that i did a set of 10 with the 315. after that i did 3 sets f 5 with 315 on the incline. after that i was still bumbed i didnt get the 500 so i did 10x10 dips.

i should have waited cause i do feel like doign that work earlier in the week slowed me up some. but maybe its a good thing i tried it like this because now IM PISSED THE FUCK OFF!!!!!

i will try it next wed. i wont do any upperbody work till then

yeah same shit with the 475. i did work before i tried it and the next time i chilled the whole week then got it. i just wanted to try and knock it out before next week. this shit got me real mad right now though. cause i feel like i have it when i take it off the rack. so fuck it im just gonna chill till the next time i do it. only thing i may do before that is some sled pushing

My only suggestion is to change your warmup a bit...

Something like:

135lbs x 10
225lbs x 8
315lbs x 4
405lbs x 2
455lbs x 1
500lbs x 1

Something similar to that. I think you're trying to jump too much weight. Try to get your body acclimated using some singles that are closer to the actual weight.

Anyways, that looked *really really* close. Very cool!
