Yeah, I've looked at them. I've even ordered them for other people; I haven't dropped the money on one for myself yet. My gym has a good one and I'm over there 8 days a week, so I have a hard time justifying the expense. When I have extra money, I will definitely buy one.

Squats (150lb band tension) - 145X3, 195X3, 235X2, 285X1
Front squats - 135X3, 185X3, 255X1
Hypers

Today was a nice, low volume, moderate to low intensity day. I feel good after the workout. I had a cramped up back all morning & was on my feet all day, so I wanted to take it easy.

Thanks. It was a good day. That front squat might have been a PR. I went from missing lifts every training session for a month to not having missed a lift in at least a couple of weeks. I feel better & it hasn't given me the opportunity to head fuck myself as much.

Bench (pause & press command) - 205X1, 215X1, 225X0
CGBP - 185X8, 205X2
Tricep pressdowns
Face pulls

I barely missed 225. I became untucked at some point. My form is starting to come together.

DL - 225X3, 275X2, 315X2, 365X1, 385X1
Leg curls

My lower back has been sore and weak since...Monday, I think. I'm two weeks out from the meet now. I'll probably do some form work next week, but other than that no bar is going on my back until the 21st. This was the weakest I've been while pulling 385 in...months.

Haha but I've done 425. 385 isn't bad. My goal is to put together a +1000 total at my first meet.

I should have a 375 squat in the bag & I'm fantasizing about a 400lb squat. I'll open with 355.

If I have a good setup, I should be able to touch 225 on bench. I've done 215 without a problem. Depending on how the squat goes, I'll open with 205 or 215.

I wanted to open at 405 on deadlift. If I squat 375 & bench 225, I'm 400lbs from a 1000lb total. I know I'm over thinking it. None of this matters until the day of the meet.

I would just go with the flow and see how you're feeling that day. Anyways, a 1000lb total would be awesome for a first meet. Good luck.
