DL (1X2 = 1 conv & 1 sumo) - 3X2 275, 325, 345
Conventional DL - 3X1 365, 385, 405 (bail)
Unilateral hyper extensions - 3X5 + 30lbs
Chin ups - 6, 6, 5

My knees have been bothering me lately. All of my joints have been aching...must be dehydrated or something. I pulled 385 a lot easier than the last time that I pulled it. I tried 405 and got it a few inches off the floor. It was moving pretty slowly and in the space of about half of a second, I heard three loud pops; it was both knees and my good shoulder. So I just bailed out of the lift. My shoulder is a little sore, but it will be feeling fine tomorrow. I'm getting stronger. My hips didn't bother me at all today either. If I tried 405 and prepped myself specifically for that one 1RM on a day set aside specifically for that, then I could pull it. Even though I didn't lift it today, I won't say I failed the attempt...I just stopped because I didn't want to hurt myself. I'm happy because I moved all of those weights faster than I ever have before.

Push press - triples @ 135, 140, 145, 155
Bench press - triples @ 185, 195, 205

I lifted in the basement at my parents house on.....Sunday. Knees are very sore. Especially the left one. I won't be able to squat for a while.

No doubt. I need to start doing some more research again as far as knee, shoulder, hip, and back health are concerned...it will keep me healthy. I don't really have time now since I have 8 classes + work + a lot of other shit going on. Ok, I'm done whining. Hopefully the knees will start feeling better. I can't remember if hips were on the list. If they weren't already, then they are now.

www.robertsontrainingsystems.com

www.ericcressey.com

look through the article sections on both sites....plenty of stuff on shoulders and hips...

also...might not hurt to check out your posture...check out both neanderthal series of articles...some good pictures, and tests to check for weaknesses/tight areas. and ways to get fixed

Squats - singles @ 245, 275, 295, 305, 315
Push press - singles @ 135, 145, 155, 165, 175

I wanted to move some heavier weight today, but my body is a mess. I did a semi heavy, low volume workout. Hips were the limiting factor with squats. Push press felt fine. Can't wait to really get back into the swing of things...hopefully I'll be training "normally" in the next week or two. I really want to start working around my 1-3RM on some lifts, but I'm not ready for that yet.

Oh, and my knees didn't bother me...very cool.
