Standing military press - 4X3 135, 135, 140, 140, 1X1 145, 1X1 155
Leg press - light/few reps
Flat DB press - 1X5 70, 1X3 80
Just wasn't feeling it today. 145 & 155 were both PR's, but I can still go plenty heavier on a better day when I'm fresh. Lower back is still sore as shit from doing deadlifts for the first time in a month. I had two of the trainers in the gym watch my form and they said that my back was flat, but that I could stand just a little bit more arch in my back...but overall it was pretty good form. It's disappointing that I'm so sore despite that. I'm stoked about next week. It will be the first week in months that I'll have a completely normal lifting schedule.

I'm doing squats if I have to do them on one leg. If I can't bend my knees, I'll be doing stiff leg dead lifts. If I can't push on my bad shoulder, I'm doing one arm stuff. This complete week WILL happen.

Incline bench - 1X5 155, 3X3 175, 1X10 135
Squats - 2X5 225, 3X3 275
Lat pulls - 4X6 120, 140, 150, 160, 2X12 120
Arnolds - 3X3 55, 60, 65
Tri extensions - 4X10, 1XDS (10, 4, 2)
I felt like crap this morning. I got less than 4 hours of sleep. I still got something out of the workout though, so I'm happy. Not a great workout, but I'll take it how I can get it. Shoulder was shaky. Can't wait for Wednesday's workout.

"your best day isnt the day you go in and preform at your peak, setting personal bests, and running through obsticals like they arent even there. Your best day is when you feel like shit, you have no motivation, and all you want to do is stay in bed ... but you dont, you get your ass up, and you take care of business, THATS YOUR BEST DAY."
A very wise man once told me this, and it stuck with me ever since, keep kicking ass Ross, even if your not feeling it.

Thanks hrdgain. That's what I was telling myself when I was in the gym this morning. It's amazing what the right attitude can do. I've never heard that summed up so eloquently before. I'm stealing that.
