Sorry I didn't reply earlier - that definitely clears it up, DH. And yeah I am basically working back through their old stuff haha :) I guess I will just cross that bridge when I come to it and for now just stick to the heavy work. Thanks!

Oh, I just noticed what you said about the authority figure thing. I do want to clear that I'm am talking about being skeptical and not cynical, like the Jamie Hale article I linked talked about. I don't mean to discount or disregard.

I mean I used to recommend Rippetoe stuff without much reservation. Based on my past if I was "cynical" I never would have done that. But I continued to ask questions and keep a skeptical mind and I altered my view-point somewhat.

A good example that I've noticed is that I recommended EC's Maximum Strength book to Anuj and since then it's become very popular. It's a great program but of course everything has it's drawbacks. But then I notice that some people are taking every little thing in it, such as the Biotest pimping, lol, like gospel. So, you know, I'm just saying, let's keep our heads about us here!

Good points, D, lol. That really does clear it up. And you got me with the Rippetoe thing, haha. I really was trying to say something similar...bascially that these tips aren't rules but I don't have your encyclopedic knowledge of WSB so please excuse if I sounded disrespectful.

Actually, though, it's a reason I don't like Supertraining..it's full of "assumptions, preconceptions, theories, and so on, without any practical direction.

LOL, trust me, I was just posting about Louie to a broad audience, and probably would've still talked about his reasoning whether or not you said something about it. :D

OH, I know. I just like open communication. It's good for a relationship :D.
