Of course they still do. It is the myth (lie) that supplement companies employ to sell magazines and product. Last time I looked at a bodybuilding mag it was near impossible to even tell where a "real" article ended and an advertisement began. That mentality that any kid can buy a few hundred bucks worth of NO-xplode and Muscletech will make them all Marcus Ruhl.

Fortunately I have given my mother a whole new set of worries "You aren't going to lift that big stone are you? You will throw your back out!" Bah

I know what you mean, I bust my ass each day in the gym and when it comes to eating, people always assume if they have the same supplements they will be just as strong. blah but that doesnt really bother me these days. I am training to be as strong as I can be.

One day I am sure I will go down the strong man or PL road. My height does give me a poor mindset though.

chest supported rows 5x5 - 3 plates 25
Pull Downs 4x10- 220
Rack Deads 3x8 - 3 plates 25

Strength is going up, some factor could be just me getting used to this style of training, but I do feel greater power on the racks though.

Rest and diet hasnt been spot on, but after thursday everything should return back to normal.

I have been able to maintain my weight which is fantastic. 220lbs. I am not really into cutting down anymore.
