I was wondering if there is an alternative besides ding seated row for middle back in a powerlifting routine?

Try Pendlay Rows.

These are sometimes referred to as 90 degree rows as you are bending over at the waist at a 90 degree angle.

I think dumbbell rows will solve your problem.

I've been doing DB rows for a while now and although they are tough when they get heavy they are useful. Good for grip and back development. Good tool for deads.

For you I will also suggest dumbbell rows will be good option.
