Default Box Squat Height?

I was wondering if anyone here who has built there own box for box squats could tell me how tall their boxes are. I am going to be building two next week (one for low box squats) and one for regular box squats. So far I have been able to get by using a half bench for my regular squats which sits lower than normal benches, but I really need to build one for lower box squats.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just an update I found that Milk crates work great for box squats instead of spending the time making your own. Most of them are 11-12 inches high which is just about perfect and they have been holding up just fine with my body weight and the extra squat weight. You can also stack them for added strength in case your worried about them busting.

Ya I was going to use the advice from that thread to build one, but then I found people mentioning that milk crates work well. Its a hell of alot easier since I don't consider myself a handy man.
