Default Lifting for cancer

The next meet I'm doing is July 31st and all proceeds are going to cancer. If you are like me then you know atleast one person that has had some form of this disease . My mom is a survivor , but I lost my aunte last year.

I don't usually ask people for money , but I thought I would post my link up in hopes for something.

I am training again . Trying to get my strength back to where it was at one point , hopefully i can get some respectful numbers at this meet. It is 100% RAW and drug tested. If I can get my numbers to where they where 6 months ago then I should get some Canadian records.

I threw in a few bucks for ya.

You have some numbers you'd like/expect to hit at this meet?

Thanks.

It's hard for me to say due to lack of training. 500 squat would be nice , but 400 is looking more realistic. Same with deadlift. As for bench I'm holding 350.

You'll still kick my butt. Just don't cut down to 220 so I can feel a little bit better about myself.

Haha. Shit man I'm only 230 so I would rather cut to 220 ( 10lbs is easy to lose ) than go to 240.

If I do well at this event I will be going to Vegas for the World's ! You all should come

Contrary to popular belief that heavy lifting of any kind may worsen the lymphedema in breast cancer survivors, a new study suggests that a gradual training program may be an effective option and actually help patients with painful swelling in their arms.

I think you have to consult a doctor or physician about your condition ...
