Default Brown Rice?

You guys got a couple brown rice recipies? The stuff tastes like I am eating bark or something and I need something decent...I have been searching for recipies and the pictures look more like a pile of vomit than a plate of food.

Cook it in chicken broth instead of water, add lean meat (chicken works, sliced up pork chops if your macro allows it), make friends with a spice rack.

Default Brown Rice

When you use chicken broth it also helps soften it up some as well. Just substitute the chicken broth for the water.

Brown rice is over-rated and over-blown. But yeah, cooking it with broth and other flavors helps.

ok give the following a try:
cook the brown rice; fry some meat; fry some onions and garlic, only very short; put all the stuff together and put some tomato purre in it and a bit of water, flavor it withe chillie, spice, salt and some herbs and heat it up lightly. there you are., it really tastes good !

That does sound good but I am not too good with spices, usually since I am just eating everything just cut up some polk sausage and throw that in...and for some crazy ass reason when I cook it in this red pot I have it tastes good even by itself..its a magical pot of fruity gum drops and little elves =D

When I cook my brown rice I use the following:

- Chicken broth
- diced onions
- diced red and green bell peppers
- chili powder

That should add some flavor to it.
