Default Healthy Oatmeal Recipes

Anyone have good Oatmeal recipes? I normally mix it with my protein powder and peanut butter, but sometimes that gets old so I am looking for help.

Mixing in protein powder is about as fancy as I get. I never thot of the PB.
I'm sure open to some ideas.

Apple Cinnamon:
Add chopped apple or a few teaspoons of natural, unsweetened applesauce to oatmeal and cook. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Maple & Brown Sugar
Use sugar-free pancake syrup and a dash of cinnamon or artificial brown sugar replacement by Sugar Twin that is now available.

Fruit & Cream:
Add a little milk or vanilla protein powder and a few strawberries, blueberries, peaches, or a teaspoon of sugar free preserves.

Maple Walnut:
Add 1 tbsp sugar-free pancake syrup and a few chopped walnuts.

French Vanilla:
Add 1 tsp vanilla, a splash of low-fat milk, and a packet of artificial sweetener.

Cinnamon Raisin:
Try using a few dashes of cinnamon, a splash of sugar-free maple syrup and a teaspoon of raisins.
Protein Boost:
Stir in 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder.

Butter Pecan:
Add a splash of imitation butter flavor, teaspoon of Promise fat-free butter replacement or a few dashes of Butter Buds and a teaspoon of chopped pecans.

I've always stuck to the oatmeal/100% choc. whey combo. I really never care for taste, only the functionality of what I eat anyways. If it tastes like sh!t but gets me 10 more pounds, I'll take seconds.

this was my motto when i started taking protien shakes didnt care much for the taste but when the results came, i suddenly enjoyed them alot more. same thing happened with creatines since it taste horrible i really didnt like the loading phase because of how many times a day i had to deal with the taste then i got some results and the same thing happened....i couldnt taste the creatine anymore. its a vicious cycle at first but then its what u look forward to

Smile re: oatmeal.

Use apple juice, plus 1 scoop whey protein. sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon powder on top. It's low cal. high protein and filling. This is great especially if you live in colder climates like I do. u don't get hungry as often.

Another good combination is rolled oats with warmed dried fruit, whey protein, and you can also add honey or agave nectar which is similar to honey but slightly thinner consistency.

Oatmeal + vanilla Muscle Milk has been an EXCELLENT combination.

'Though, to conserve my muscle milk, I've been using ON 100% Whey Vanilla. The taste is far inferior to that of muscle milk, but I add a bit of sweet n' low. It serves it's purpose!
