Default Cherry, French Toast.

8 small, cherries.
3 cup plain, skimmed milk
Dash cinnamon and/or nutmeg
6 slices whole wheat bread
Non stick, cooking spray as needed
1. Process cherries, skimmed milk and spice in a blender or food processor until very smooth. Pour into a shallow bowl.
2. Heat a non stick griddle, over low heat. Apply a good coating
of non stick cooking spray. Dip bread into cherries batter and cook until
lightly browned on both sides.

Wow thanks, I have been craving french toast.. But, I am not sure if I can do it without syrup. Are there any good alternatives to sugary syrup? Probably a dumb question :P
