Someone else here was talking about mixing whey in Tuna to get a meal that contains 100 grams of protein, so that he can cover the protein need for the whole day. Me and Dr.X and everyone else that I know had a good laugh reading that post. :D

OK, OK, bring it to the "just bored" thread. This is the Recipes board, and I see no recipes on the second page.

For the true college student... I wish I would have used tuna back then....

Ramen Tuna
Ingredients

2 or 1 Small tear open packets of tuna -no oil.
1 Packet Ramen noodle-Discard seasoning
1 Can mixed veggies
Procedure
Cook 1/2 the Ramen noodles in microwave with 1/2 can of mixed veggies and water. Drain and add 1 or 2 packets of Tuna. 1 packet of tuna is 19 grams pro and 2 equals 38 grams.

Most of the fat and sodium are in the seasoning packet, so don't eat it. Save the unused Ramen and Veggies for the next day's meal.
.................................................. .................................................. ....
Tuna Mix- If you have had tuna n cottage - try this
ingredients (any amounts)

tuna, cottage cheese, carrots, apples, ritz crackers, mayo, red
onion, black pepper

First, use a food processor or blender to "whip" the cottage
cheese. Dump it into a large mixing bowl. Second, "chop" the
carrots, apples, onion, etc. with the food processor and put
this in the bowl. Add some mayo to the bowl, you don't need
much! Just like a spoonful or three. Add tuna. Crumble some
crackers in. Lots of black pepper Mmmmm

Maybe add some chili peppers. Good stuff.
The key is that mayo isn't the base, the cottage cheese is.
You should have a 10:1 cottage cheese/mayo ratio.

.................................................
Mex-tuna mix
chopped jalapeno
chopped tomatoes
chopped onions
1 can tuna
4 large egg whites

Stir fry onions, jalapeno and tomatoes with a little bit of olive oil. Season with mrs. dash, pepper, curry powder and parmesan cheese. Then add the tuna (drained). Then add egg whites and then season again for your taste.

Now get ta eatin. Oh, and tuna shakes arent bad. I say, dont knock it till ya try it.

more recipies :)
Tuna Salsa Wraps

1 (7 oz.) pouch or 2 (3 oz.) pouches of Tuna (Chunk Light or Albacore)
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup shredded carrots
(6) Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas
11/2 cups shredded lettuce
3/4 cup mild shredded Cheddar cheese

Warm each tortilla according to the package instructions. In a small bowl, combine the first five recipe ingredients in the order given, mixing well to create a “tuna salsa” mix. Lay each one of the warmed tortillas on a cutting board. On the center of each tortilla, place an equal portion of the shredded lettuce, tuna mixture and top each with a pinch of shredded Cheddar cheese. Fold the long end of the tortilla over ingredients and roll tightly.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 6
