as far as bar placement i usually try to keep it between the upper portion of my shoulder blades and where your trap muscle starts to curve down on your back

Wrist Pain

when i do heavy squats my wrists start to hurt after the first couple of reps.
I was just wonder if any of yall get this pain and if so what can i do to get rid of it

that makes sense....im not really a beginner though ive been lifiting of and on for about 4 yrs now...went a good 7 months then got hurt and was out for about 5 and now ive been going strong again...

for grip strenght have you ever tried tennis ball pulls. I did them after seeing this and they are pretty nasty

ive also seen lunges done by putting one leg behind you on a bench...that might be the split squat that wolf is talking about
