You hit it right there, the price. That's the main reason nintendo switched over to disc. But when it comes down to it it's alot harder (if impossible) to burn a cartridge so it may save them money....

I meant to say that the settings on the PS3 have to be changed. The tv will play whatever it is qualified to play (480,720,1080).

I just picked up bowling ($10) and it's (what I call) Wii technology. Lot's of fun.

I know that with the ps3 - the 40g is not backwards compatible, the 60g is, but they are taking that one off the shelf. The 80g is about 85% b/c. To me it sure would be nice to play old ps1 or 2...
