The reason they don't bother to aspirate is one that they know the proper sites and that there isn't many veins or nerves in those sites and two it is really hard to poke a vein when you go in at 90...

Nah I don't think that's possible. It's eventually going to absorb even if you do it subcutaneously or something just maybe not as efficiently.
