On Deadlifts when I am doing reps with like 90%+ of my max, I need that much rest.

Otherwise...if I am doing say pull-ups or so..I keep it to 3-5...

My 2 cents:

Do not fall into that dogmatic way of thinking that 3-5 minutes rest is all you need.

I rest for ATLEAST 7-10 minutes in between Deadlift...
