Default Private Forum ?

Hopper's post gave me an idea

Is there a way we could have a private section on this Forum ? Maybe just a handful of people could get in. This way we can share some books and stuff that WE have paid for and don't mind sharing with friends.

I don't think it's proper to be posting for everyone to see ( not a jab at you Hop ) what these guys / gals have worked so hard for to sell there books , but if there are and handful of us that are willing to share then I don't think it's that bad ! Do you ?

I would love to have more books ( not that I can read all the ones I have now ) to build a solid collection and I would also love to share with some friends what I have now.

Or maybe it's better to just PM or email , I don't know ??

most other boards have sections that only "Vets" can see. than there is a section that only "VIp's" can see, but not the vets. Than you have the "staff" section that V.i.P or Vets can't see.

I'll just throw this out there since it's already in the works. I'm developing a site for my friends & family to use. I'm going to host everyone's music, videos, and software. Membership will be approved by me so it stays private (and so that I have a lesser chance of going to jail). I'll have sections where you can upload & search music, videos, software, and possibly books. I'll invite all of you guys that have been around a while to join when I get things up and running. So if it TALO's suggestion is a no-go on this site, I'll adopt it.

^^^ That's funny that you ask. Some of the guys actually want that. I can set permissions for each user and decide what they can and can't see. So I suppose I could add a section for that & my mother would never know. I haven't decided yet...it probably depends on how much work it will be to create the different sections.

what you have to hide from others?

I do not understand the nature of so many divisions and subdivisions among people...
