Default anyone try this

Metrx ECN Amped drink mix. Just about to finish the 2lb bucket that was sent to me by The Metrx Challenge, for the losers. I had to take a break from my bench press due to sorness from tossing the cast net a number of times, I have the pumped feeling in my arms all the time. I ll try another can along with Optimum Whey that was suggested to me by another member. Any one else try this crazy foaming sweetart tasting goop. ( that is with a G )

Actually, I did a post a while ago about this product. I'm glad it was free!

It's severely underdosed. If I were you, I'd take double the dosage preworkout only at least. Actually, you're better off buying the ingredients seperately IMO-

Here's the recommended servings for the ingredients-
-Taurine: 1-4 grams effective dosage with at least 1 gram preworkout.
-L-Tyrosine: The daily dosage for most will probably fall in the 3-12 g range. Exceeding this amount is not recommended, and the dosage should be started on the lower end of this range to determine personal tolerance, especially if one is taking stimulants or antidepressants. The dosage should be divided among 3 or more doses daily. Around 2 g prior to exercise may be used to improve athletic performance.
-Arginine: 3 grams pre/post is most effective.
-Creatine Ester: 2-3 grams pre/post.
-L-Glutamine: At least 10 grams once postworkout, once before bed.

And now here's the label-

Serving Size: 1 Scoop (20g)
Servings per Container: about 45

Preworkout ingredients-
Amped ECN Pumped Blend 2,500mg
Creatine Ester Phosphate Sodium, Creatine Monohydrate, N-Acetyl Cysteine
Amped ECN Nitro Blend 1,200mg
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine
Amped ECN Neuro-Energy Blend 1,634mg
Taurine, L-Tyrosine, Caffeine Anhydrous (100mg), White Willow (Salix alba) (bark) (standardized to contain 15% Salicin), Vinpocetine
Amped ECN NOS Blend 2,000mg
L-Arginine, L-Glutamine, Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid

That's the case a lot of the time. Supplement companies like to use fancy language or come up with trademarked blend names to make you think they are doing something magical, i.e. something other than throwing a bunch of ingredients into a supplement that everyone has access to anyway.

Looking at it again, it's funny how the L-Arginine's vasodialating effects are hindered by the L-Glutamine. I've read that Glutamine cancels out the arginine.

I have the protien sup down along with a good clean diet. Any thing else I can throw in there without getting to tech. Brand names and description would help. The 400lb lady at the GNC here aint much help, working on comish. ( ya, here in Char. SC)

Supps that work: protein and creatine.

I tried Amped. It was okay. Little pump. Fruity flavor. But I felt a little bloated.

Read carefully what this says: "once you stop shopping at GNC".

That means don't only stop buying GNC products, stop buying anything at GNC. Best is to get it online. bodybuilding.com, atlargenutrition.com and bulknutrition.com are three places I've ordered with prompt and reliable service...
