It's not stupid, bro. It just has a simple answer is all. I think these are good questions to ask...at least about safety in general.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

If that was the case then the doctors would be telling kids to stay away from red meat

No. It's a totally different thing. We're talking much larger amounts taken supplementally than is found in red meat or any other protein source. Not to mention that the average doctor is no more likely to know about creatine or what's found in meat than anyone else. Everything is dose dependant. In fact, some herbs, for instance, are beneficial at low doses and toxic at high doses One pound of beef probably contains about 2 grams of creatine. Safety is always a legitimate concern when it comes to any supplement. In the case of creatine the real concern is the fact that you can get some real shit these days coming from China (where most everyone's comes from) and you will be taking poison along with the creatine.

erick is right about the amount of creatine in meat. but if your concern about getting sick off creatine i think its all in your head. what i do is i take creatine for 2 months straght and then a week or two break from it and i notice my muslces getting alot harder and dense (no mass was lost what so ever) then with that i get on creatine again for another 2 months and take a week or two off and repeat. i just let my body rest or what ever and just eat right. i train the same just not with creatine for those week or two. just my 2 cent.

I agree completely that creatine as such is safe based on what we know at least .

For me I just like to see people taking all this seriously and asking questions about safety becasue so many people tend to have this naive belief that big brother is watching out for them or that a company wouldn't sell something that wasn't safe.

^^ I can relate. Today some guy at work told me he bought some anabolics, oral ones. I made sure he knew that anabolics meant steroid, he said he knew. Then continued on to say he just wanted to see what it was like, didn't really care much about gaining massive amounts of muscle or anything. Even more fuckin bizarre was that he didnt have any sort of PCT or liver protectants and had no idea about dosage or cycle time.

I tried to convince him to forget about the cycle altogether, when that didnt work I tried to convince him on a pct and protectant. That didnt work either and he says "oh well, I'm sure I'll be fine. They wouldn't sell it if it wasn't safe"

What a fuckin retard
