Default A beginner trainer seeking advice from the experts... thanks

Heya all, Im 20 and been doing training for a while now. The thing is.. i cant seem to get rid of all that flab around my tummy and neck. I'm wondering if u experts could recommend some fat burners for me to try. I'm pretty scared of those with side effects, so how about something milder but effective.
I look forward to ya valuable advice. Thanks.

Diet is the key, my friend. And, of course, exercise. But it is really a simple formula to lose fat: expend more calories than you ingest. Going further, make sure that the calories you take in are good, quality calories. That is, certainly very little saturated fat.

hmm.. expend more calories than i take in. Makes sense. But I got a problem, How do I calculate the amount of calories I take in? Also, If I go for a Jog, how do i calculate how much calories i expended? er.. another thing.. whats good calories and whats bad? So sorry dude, Im really new to all these detailed stuff. But I am truly determined to shape up. So I'm not afraid to work it out. If u may, please show me the way. You have my many thanks.

to calculate how many calories you take in just start counting them maybe prepare your own meals not go out so you can get a better picture of how much your taking in. If you go on a jog im not to sure about this one i think it really depends on weight and age...i normally just go by what the treadmill says. Good calories in my opinion are things that will be benificial for you...high protien...not many saturated fats...no partically hydrogenated oil. some good examples tuna fish, chicken, turkey. things like that

Go to www.fitday.com At the other board I'm on, a lot of people use it to track their diet and get nutritional info.

short sprints are a great way to drop the weight fast...warm up with a jog for 5-10mins then sprint 2 minutes, walk 2, sprint 2....i do this for 25-40 mins a night...it raises and lower your heart rate burns more calories
