I agree. Congrats on the 10lb, but you got it because of busting your butt in the gym and getting sufficient protein and calories. Other protein supplements would have done the same thing for you. But if you like muscle milk I guess it's OK to keep using it. Your money.

Ok. I use Six Star Muscle Professional Strength Whey Protien post workout and off days. Came to a plataeu. Added Muscle Milk on training days in place of tuna at the early break during work. In 3weeks I gained 10 lbs and 3/4 in on the arms. It may just be the extra cals, but for me it's good. And it's only about $8 a week.

No carbs post workout? If you gained weight, it was because you consumed more calories. And 10lbs in 3 weeks means a large portion of it was likely fat.

Lunch within a few mins of post work. And yes, I needed to get cals up anyways, 6'6 and 200lbs. with high metabolic rate caused by a prolaps and active lifestyle has kept me on the skinny side. A little fats not a big deal as long as the muscle growth is there.

I have a hard time believing you gained 3/4in on your arms in 3 weeks. A really hard time. Maybe if you measuring cold/pump. Or maybe dehydrated vs bloated.

Anyways 10lb in 3weeks is alot. Its likely about 8lb of fat.
