Default I don't know which supplements to take..

Well i am 5'5 and only 106 lbs, i've gained approxomately 8 lbs in a 1 and 1/2 months. I have been following Mark Riptoe's beginner strength program.

I am just wondering which supplements i should take and which ones i should not take(like creatine..) I am afraid that because of my weight at my age, i might not be able to take some of the supplements....

Might not be what you want to hear but Imo get yourself a good protein mix, and a multi-vitamin and food.

Good clean bulking food will do more for you than any of those mostly overhyped supplemnts will.

I agree. You've been doing good up until this point. If you look at is like you've gained 1 and a quater pounds a week that's pretty good. If your were to aim at increasing that gain I guarantee that improvement in diet have more of a chance of effecting that than the addition of a supplement.

Muti-vitamin mineral for sure. Protein powders if you really need it to bump up your protein intake. The only area where I would say that supplements can make a big difference is in the area of pre and post workout nutrition. Some fast absorbing protein and carbs there could really help you if you're not already doing it. Creatine if you want is not a bad idea and you can use it pre or post.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Well i'm taking a protein shake (a cup) in the morning, and one at night. I've been eating a cup of oatmeal, yogurt and some cheese before my workout. But i don't know what to do after my work out, should i eat a whole meal or just a small meal and another protein shake?

Joker and Eric laid it out for you pretty well IMO

Personally since your just starting out I would try and put more emphasise on your diet, making sure that everything is perfect as far as that. Most of your nutrition should be coming from whole foods, then when everything as far as your diet is set up correctly I would then start to incorperate supplements.

I would also have your protein shake post workout as well

I think your best bet would just increase food intake. If you want to stay clean with little fat gain stick to what you are doing, but if you really want to increase just eat whatever you got. 5'5'' and 106 is very lean even if you ate "not so clean" I doubt you are going to put on very much fat. Kepp up good work though.
